An award winning coach, Dustin Wise started Teqniq Academy in 2018 under the name of Wise Soccer Coach. The mission then was much the same as it is today, to educate coaches and players. Since 2018, Dustin has additionally gone on to successfully start a junior college program at Allegany College of Maryland followed by leading Frederick Community College with back-to-back seasons nationally ranked inside the top 20.
Autobiography
When I’m asked to describe myself, I often struggle to express the depth of my passion for this sport and my true motivation behind pursuing this career. From a young age, my dream was never solely about playing the game—it was about building something bigger, creating my own facility. Throughout my coaching career, my focus has always been on elevating programs to new heights. I’ve gravitated toward opportunities where I could be the underdog, and I’ve turned down higher offers when they came my way. Why? Honestly, I can’t fully explain it—except that I want to be part of something that leaves a lasting legacy.
In 2023, I led Frederick Community College to a remarkable 18th ranking in the country, and in 2024, we surpassed that, climbing to 12th nationally! Prior to that, as Head Coach at Allegany College of Maryland in 2022, we achieved the nation’s most impressive year-over-year goal differential turnaround across all college programs. These accomplishments fill me with immense pride, but they are a direct result of the tireless work of my players and coaching staff.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with players who have represented their national teams, earned All-American honors, and collectively secured over $1.5 million in collegiate scholarships. My players have gone on to succeed at every level imaginable—professional, D1, D2, D3, NAIA, NJCAA, NCCAA, and USCAA. Beyond athletics, many have also made a mark in fields such as the White House, Nashville PD, Hagerstown PD, the United States Air Force, the United States Army, and beyond! These stories of success are what truly inspire me every day.
